Down the Hall Studios is more than a rental space—we're a creative community built on connection, expression, continuing education, and energizing the photography community. We don't gatekeep. We believe in lifting each other up, sharing knowledge, and creating together.
Our Aperture Ambassadors are the heart of this vision. They're photographers and creatives who embody our values: collaboration over competition, authenticity over pretense, and community over isolation. They're here regularly, building culture, mentoring, and creating meaningful work alongside everyone who walks through our doors.

About Quan:
As someone who grew up drawing and designing graphics, photography is just another way for me to share my art with others. Whether it's meeting other creatives when I'm out doing street photography or collaborating with a model to bring their vision to life, the social aspect is what I love the most about photography.

About Mikaya: Mikaya is based in Central Pennsylvania and has has been behind a camera since middle school. What started as a creative outlet became a career — and at 22 she's already building something real.

About Shane: Having first started as a musician, his background in music deeply informs his creative perspective and connection to visual storytelling. Often drawing inspiration from soft grunge and alternative aesthetics, these emotionally driven works revolve around themes of suffocation, beauty and decay, and the weight of self-burden.
